The Drummer

This is a clay puppet I did back in 2009 for a collective exhibition about handmade characters. The show was curated by the cool people from Mediodía Chica, an artists club located in Madrid and counted with the participation of dozens of international artists.

It was real pleasure to been invited to take part on it.

The puppet is fully handmade, from the wire skelleton to the clothes and accesories

Beautiful Forever

This work was created for the Beautiful Forever exhibition. The collection of work and the title itself challenges the painful and permanent associations with getting a real tattoo. This show allows visitors, artists, and audience members to literally wear their heart on their sleeve (or cat, or animal, or ice cream cone). This shows plays of the ephemeral and lighthearted nature of temporary tattoo, to display the baddest and best collection of tats that won't last forever! This show runs in conjunction with the Blow Out exhibition, which is a artwork made by tattoo artists and serves as a benefit show for local tattooist Tom Strom.
